Two ways it works for you, and it asks before it keeps anything
Life is where the moments that matter become your story. Mind quietly collects the rest of your digital life in one private place. Both live on your own device, and you keep using every app you already use.
Life
The trips, milestones and ordinary days that mattered, kept in order and shared with a private Circle of the people who were there.
How Life worksarrow_downwardMind
Everything you connect lands here first. Ask it anything, and move what matters up into your memory or out into Life.
How Mind worksarrow_downwardHow Life works
Life is the story you choose to keep
Life holds the moments that made you, dated, in order and kept for good. Mind, below, collects everything else. You don't have to sit down and write a memoir to fill it.
You add a moment
Drop in the photos, video and a voice note, say where and when it happened and who was there, and write the story beside it.
It interviews you
“Where were you born?” “The first place you lived alone?” One question at a time, whenever you feel like it, and each answer files itself.
One click from Mind
Anything already collected in Mind, an email, a note, a photo, becomes a moment in Life in one step.
Share it with your Circle
Send a moment to the people who were there. They add their own photos and memories underneath. A private Circle, not a social post.
Open any moment and you're back in it: the photos in order, the video, the voice note, the map pin and the story, all together. Already built a family tree on Ancestry or MyHeritage? Bring it in, and every person, date and place comes with it.
How Mind works
Everything lands in Mind first
It runs quietly in the background and stays out of your way. Four things happen, in this order.
It gathers
Your email, messages, calendar, photos and files, the pages you browse, the AI conversations you have. Whatever you choose to include, and nothing you don't.
It organizes
A private assistant on your own device sorts the chaos into a tidy, searchable archive: what's for good, what's for now, what's just for reference.
It asks
Nothing important is kept or shared without your yes. It earns your trust step by step, and some things always ask.
It stays yours
Encrypted on your own disk. There's no copy of it on our servers.
Then, from Mind, you can
Agent & Chat
“When did we buy the house?” “What did the doctor say last spring?” Ask in plain words and get an answer with links to the memories it came from. Want the biggest models? Chat uses your own key and sees only the memories you pick.
Keep what matters
Promote anything worth keeping up into your memory: a fact for good, context for now, or something about who you are.
Turn it into a moment
An email about your first job or a photo from a wedding becomes a moment in Life with one click, and it asks when it really happened.
How it's organized
Your memory, in five levels
Not one big pile. Mind is the ground floor, where everything lands. When you say yes, what matters moves up a level, so the most important things always come first. Nothing moves until you do.
Me
The top
Who you are: your values, your boundaries, and the standing rules you want anything that helps you to follow.
Memoirs
The why behind your choices: the lessons and threads that make you, you.
Memories
The facts you've chosen to keep for good: checked, clear and yours.
Mementos
Clears itself
What matters right now, like a trip or a two-week project, that tidies itself away when it's done.
Mind
Where everything lands
Everything collected, in one place. Search it, ask it anything, and promote what matters up a level or into Life.
And nothing is ever thrown away. Anything WeMemi retires drops into your Archive, always one click from coming back.
Why it's yours
Not a promise. A design.
Plenty of apps promise privacy. WeMemi is built so it doesn't have to. Your Mind and your Life physically stay on your own device, and there's no version of ours that could read them.
That's the difference between "trust us" and "it never left."
It stays home
Your memories are stored on your device, and the AI that reads them runs there too. Nothing about you is sent anywhere to be processed.
Nothing is ever lost
Nothing is deleted behind your back. Retired memories go to an archive you can bring back with one click, and every memory keeps its own history.
Secrets stay sealed
Passwords and private things can be locked in a sealed drawer that nothing, not even the app's own assistant, is allowed to open.
A lock on the app itself
Add a PIN so WeMemi opens only for you. The encryption below protects the file; the PIN protects the app. Belt and suspenders.
Shares and syncs on your terms
Moments travel straight from your device to the people in your Circle, and your own devices stay in step the same way. When two networks won't connect directly, an encrypted relay we run passes the traffic along without ever holding a key to it.
No fine print
Every background rule is written in plain language inside the app, with a running record of exactly what was shared with which app, and when.
If you code, every AI app gets its own keyPro Plus
Each AI tool you connect, like Claude, Codex or Cursor, gets its own pass to your memory, never a shared master key. See which ones have access, and take it back from any of them without touching the others.
Encrypted where it sits
A locked door is good. A safe is better.
Here's something most people never think about: the apps you install run on your computer as you. They can open your files, because your computer thinks they're you. That's simply how computers work, and it's just as true of the AI assistants that get more capable every month.
Locking your computer protects a stolen laptop. It does nothing about a program already running while you're signed in. So WeMemi encrypts your memory on the disk itself, and anything that goes looking finds gibberish instead of your life.
A key you never have to handle
It's created once for your device and kept in its own secure store: the macOS Keychain, or Windows Credential Manager. You never type it or manage it.
You can't be locked out
You keep a recovery code on paper. New computer, forgotten PIN, anything: that code gets you back to your own memory.
Turned on with your say-so
The app asks first and keeps the original safe until the encrypted copy is proven readable. Nothing changes behind your back.
See it on your own device
Free on one device, for Mac and Windows. Five minutes to install. Keep every app you already use.
