WeMemi
About us

Built by people who think your memory should belong to you

WeMemi is made by Agents of Play, a studio that has spent more than 20 years shipping software used by millions. This is the product we wanted for ourselves.

Why we built it

Every AI tool starts from zero. We got tired of it.

We use AI all day. And every new chat, every new tool, starts out knowing nothing about us — so we kept re-explaining who we are, what we're working on, and what we already decided.

The obvious fix is to hand all of that to someone's cloud. We didn't want to. A record of your life is the most personal data you have, and it should live where you do: on your own computer, under your control.

So we built WeMemi — a private memory that gathers what matters, asks before it keeps anything, and gives the AI tools you already use the context they need, without your data ever leaving home.

The founders

Four friends, 15+ years of building together

We are four friends who have worked together for more than 15 years, and each of us has founded and run our own company. We built WeMemi for our own families first, because the moments that matter were scattered across phones, inboxes and social feeds we don't control.

Collect it all

Bring your memories together from everywhere they live: photos, messages, chats, files and the apps you already use.

Put it on a timeline

See your life in order, one timeline from the early years to last weekend, instead of a dozen disconnected accounts.

Share it with your people

Pass a moment to family and friends directly, the ones you choose and nobody else.

Private, not public

If you post to social media mainly to keep and share memories, this is a safer home for them. Nothing is public unless you decide it is.

What we believe

Three rules we build by

home

Your data stays home

Your memory and the AI that reads it run on your own computer. We never hold your data, so there's nothing for us to sell or share.

task_alt

You decide what's remembered

Before anything important is kept or shared, you get a simple yes/no card. Some things always ask.

history

Nothing is lost behind your back

Retired memories go to an archive you can bring back with one click, and every memory keeps its own history.
